Poitras Meubles et Design

For over 30 years, Poitras Meubles et Design has been helping people make their homes feel warm, comfortable and personal. What started as a single store in Rivière-du-Loup has grown into a go-to place in the region for quality furniture, appliances, mattresses and home accessories.

In 2010, founder Viateur Poitras welcomed his daughter, Geneviève, as a partner. A few years later, in 2019, Marie-Josée Landry—who had already been part of the team since 2003—joined the ownership group. Today, the three continue to lead the business with the same values that have been there since the beginning: good products, honest advice and service you can count on.

What We Offer

We carry a wide range of furniture and accessories, including custom and exclusive pieces you won’t find everywhere. Our appliance and mattress departments offer plenty of choice too, with options for every style and every budget.

You’ll find many well-known Quebec and Canadian brands, including Elran, Palliser, Canadel and Amisco, among others.

Where We Are

We have two stores in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region:
• Rivière-du-Loup
• Mont-Joli • Rimouski

We also deliver to most of Quebec and New Brunswick.
